Amid widespread public demand for the disclosure of the owner of the 753 forfeited luxury buildings in Abuja, the EFCC says it is still carrying out a criminal investigation on the matter.
The statement by the commission follows public criticism of the anti graft agency for failing to fully disclose the ownership of the estate.
The EFCC says the criticism is unfair as the application made to the court was based on intelligence given to the commission and that the civil proceedings leading to the forfeiture does not allow action against an individual but a thing.

It also says it would be unprofessional to mention names of persons whose identities were not linked to any title document of the properties.
