Some residents in Kano state have applauded the state government for the massive construction of township road previously neglected with a call on the contractors to hasten up the work before the harmattan sets in properly.
Those who spoke to ait.live in Kano want the road construction extended to the Sabon Gari area of the state.
It is not out of place to say many parts of Kano metropolis, especially the metropolitan local government areas are now construction sites of various forms.
Currently, the state road and other township roads in the metropolis are now wearing new looks and residents are happy with Governor Abba Yusuf on this.
There are calls for attention to be channeled to the sabon gari area of the state.
The harmattan weather is already in Kano and residents around construction sites want government to hasten up the contractors to complete their construction works on time
