Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has advised President Bola Tinubu to get rid of all those he refers to as ‘excess baggage’, giving his administration a bad name.

Mohammed, who did not mention any names, urged the President to correct his ways by flushing out the bad eggs if he wants to succeed.

The Governor gave the advice during the commissioning of a fourteen kilometre Umuakali-Eberi road in Omuma local government area of Rivers State.

The Bauchi State Governor also used the occasion to applaud Friday’s Court of Appeal Judgment nullifying the judgment of the Federal High Court stopping the Central Bank of Nigeria from releasing the share of the monthly allocation from the federation account due to Rivers State.

Governor Mohammed who doubles as the Chairman of PDP Governors Forum, started by taking a swipe at those he accused of trying to sabotage Rivers State.

The occasion turned out to be more about politics, with Governor Fubara stressing that governance should never be about serving the interest of one person.

He commended the people of Omuma for finally liberating themselves from the clutches of selfish leaders who have, for a long time, deprived them of peace and development.
