Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has signed an expanded 2025 Appropriation Act of N369.9Bn with the assurance that the fiscal law would begin his development’s drive for the people.

The Governor equally signed the State Disability Protection law, which sets up a Commission for physically challenged persons, with the leader of Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWD), Dr Ishiyaku Adamu, as its Executive Secretary of the Commission.

Governor Inuwa, while signing the Appropriation Act, told the people of the State that it would deepen the developmental drive for the State.

Also, on the Disability Act, the Gombe State Governor described the event as a new dawn for the physically challenged people in the society who have since been denied and neglected of basic privileges of life.

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly said the lawmakers, after due consideration, further increased the sum originally presented by the Governor to ensure that the State continues to implement its economic and development blueprints.
