Some Youth of Igede extraction in Benue State north-central Nigeria have accused the State Governor Samuel Ortom of complicity in the lingering crisis between the Ukpute and Bonta Communities of Oju and Konshisha local government areas of the State.
The pressure group also inferred that the Governor uses the paraphernalia of governance to intimidate anyone who dares to criticise his poor handling of the crisis.

An allegation, the State Governor Samuel Ortom says is unfounded and has taken legal action against the originator insisting he must prove his insinuations.
The lingering crisis between the Ukpute and Bonta Communities of Oju and Konshisha local councils which has claimed lives ,including 11 soldiers and their captain deployed to douse the tension, is still raging with suspicion rising.
The youth of Igede extraction fears that the crisis may be a tribal conspiracy to systematically exterminate their people who are minority.
Again the chief executive has called for an urgent shareholders meeting which will be his 8th attempt at ending the deadlock.
