Wife of Rivers State Governor, Lady Valerie Fubara, has advised parents to inculcate fear of God in their children and wards as they discharge their huge responsibilities to their families, the state and the country.
Lady Fubara gave the advice when she visited the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital and the
Rivers State University Teaching Hospital RSUTH in Port Harcourt to welcome babies born on Christmas Day to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.

State First Lady decided to spend some time with patients at the hospitals and was eager to meet with the lucky children born on the special day.
Her first port of call was the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, where she welcomed baby Kate Saviour, delivered at 6:38am local time.
Christmas baby Sammy Obayegbona was born at about 1 am local time at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.

Presenting gift items to the Christmas babies and other patients at the two hospitals, Lady Fubara thanked God for the safe delivery of the children and urged their parents to train them in the fear of God.
Christmas also sees the wife of the Rivers State Governor make a stop at the Port Harcourt Children’s Home which is very dear to her heart, given that her mother spent several years helping to take care of the children at the juvenile home.
As Christians celebrate another Christmas, Lady Valerie Fubara also used the opportunity to call on Nigerians to love one another and be their brother’s keeper, saying that it is the surest way they can build a united, peaceful and prosperous country.
