Falana who was guest speaker used the occasion to charge the country’s security agencies to be more active in protecting lives and property across board which was what the late Akeredolu stood for.

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa while speaking on his former boss described him as a courageous leader who spoke truth to power and fought for the advancement of democracy and the Rule of Law in the country.

Various speakers at the gathering said security of life and property should be the primary concern and responsibility of government.
