The Emir of Yauri in Kebbi State, Muhammad Zayyanu ABDULLAHI, has tasked holders of traditional titles to use their positions to influence growth and development of the society.
The Monarch gave the advice at his palace while turbaning some title holders from the area.
He said “position of traditional institutions is sacrosanct, use your position to bring development to your people, assist them accordingly”,

“Those turbaned were appointed on merit, the titles bestowed on you are esteemed honour to serve your localities”,

Muhammad Zayyanu ABDULLAHI expressed appreciation to Governor Nasir Idris, who was the Special Guest of Honour on the occasion, for providing the Palace with N50 million to procure modern Royal Boat for the Emir for his marine official engagements.
