Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles will know their group stage opponents at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) on Wednesday, January 15.

According to a statement, released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the draw ceremony will hold at the Kenyatta International Convention in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Home Eagles are making a return to the biennial competition after a six-year absence.

They defeated perennial rivals Ghana 3-1 on aggregate to qualify for the competition.

The team began their preparation for the tournament in Ikenne on Monday

Stand-in head coach Daniel Ogunmodede has invited 26 players for the camping exercise.

Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda will host the competition reserved for players who ply their trade in their domestic leagues.

The competition will run from February 1 to February 28, 2025.
