Twenty five suspects have been arrested in connection with last week’s cult clash in Owo, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State which claimed four lives.

Addressing newsmen on the development, the state Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi said some of the suspects have been identified as having direct involvement in the criminal activities.

He said while profiling the suspects, some of them were discovered to be actively involved in the clash.

Afolabi said with the additional arrest of six suspects, a total number of twenty five persons are in custody in connection with the cult clash.

The police commissioner vowed that other suspects still at large will soon be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.

He therefore charged the people of the state to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods to the police and other security agencies.
