Empowering young Nigerians with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive positive change will not only create a brighter future for the youths, but will also promote social and economic development in Nigeria.
The Director General of Voice Of Nigeria, Jibrin Baba-Ndache said this when he hosted officials of Young African leaders initiative in his Abuja office on Monday.
The courtesy visit by the Young African leaders initiative, and the President of Female Journalists Network Nigeria, was centered around the upcoming 63rd session of the United Nations Social Development Workshop, scheduled to hold from February 10 to 14, 2025 in New York.

The meeting also emphasised the importance of social development in achieving sustainable growth.
The Director General of Voice Of Nigeria, Jibrin Baba-Ndache used the occasion to emphasise the need for accurate and balanced information, as against fake news about Nigeria and her people across social media.
Both parties agreed that the courtesy visit was a significant step towards fostering collaboration and coordination among key Stakeholders in Nigeria’s development sector.
