Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu has called for collaboration among nations to overcome challenges that have befallen humanity.

The president made the call when he joined world leaders at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

The high-profile event serves as a platform to underscore the importance of innovative solutions to global sustainability challenges.

President Tinubu said Nigeria is increasingly embracing new technologies like clean energy, water, conservation, land and forest restoration, waste management and circular economy stressing that Nigeria was finding new and innovative ways to address environmental challenges.

The president also told participants that Nigeria has arable lands for advanced technological farming, including a brighter future for artificial intelligence for sustainable development.

Highlight of the ceremony was the moment of pride for Nigeria as NaFarm Foods, a homegrown company, was honoured with the prestigious Zayed Prize in the food category.

The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week continues to serve as a crucial forum for dialogue and collaboration, drawing leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from across the globe.

As the participants brainstorm at the 2025 edition, the message is clear: collective action and innovation remain pivotal in building a sustainable future for all.
