Nigeria’s minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu says government will continue to work towards stable electricity supply to Nigerians amidst growing attacks on critical power infrastructure across the country.
The minister who was speaking during the commissioning of a 100MVA power transformer at Transmission Company of Nigeria sub-station in Isolo Lagos said government is working hard to ensure several vandalised power infrastructure across the country are repaired on time to avert prolonged electricity supply disruptions in the country.

The minister, alongside the managing director of Transmission Company of Nigeria Sule Abdulaziz said power supply improved in the outgone year 2024 despite occasional grid collapses.
The Nigerian government, according to Adelabu, will continue to priotise the well-being of citizens through improved, stable and affordable electricity in 2025, noting that ongoing upgrade of transmission lines nationwide is a testament.
