Malcom Mines from Jos plateau State has emerged as the overall champion at the port Harcourt international polo tournament tagged Unity in Motion.
Team Minna won in the TY Danjuma cup, YBL in the OB Lulu Briggs cup, Hamilton technology in the Rowland Cookey-Gam cup while bobtrack won the king TJT Princewill cup
The first polo tournament of the year in the country, came to its climax with a top class match between Malcom mines and Wilton Aviation in the Alfred Diette Spiff cup, that had an Argentine, Fernando playing for Wilton Aviation.
Malcom mines, had the last laugh after a slow start in the opening chokka, as they defeated Wilton Aviation 3-1 to lift the giant Diette Spiff trophy.

First timers are already thinking of the 2026 edition, according to them, Port Harcourt Rivers State capital, is now the template for hospitality in the country.
