Edo Gov Okpebholo Swears-in 6 New Commissioners, SUBEB Chairman, Others

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has sworn-in 6 new Commissioners bringing the number to 9, to drive the administration’s 5-point agenda.

The ceremony which was held at the Government House in Benin City, also included the swearing-in of the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) as well as the Heads of other State Boards.

The 6 new Commissioners are; Lucky Eseigbe, Paul Ohonbamu, Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, Washington Osifo, Andrew Ijegbai, and Marie Olabisi Idaomi.

While addressing the new members of the State Executive Council after the oath of office was administered on them, Governor Okpebholo urged them to support his policies and programs aimed at bringing about positive change in Edo State.

Also sworn-in was the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), as well as the Chairmen and members of the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOGPADEC), the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC), and the State Secondary Education Board (SSEB).

In a related development, Governor Okpebholo commissioned new equipment for the Waste Management Board to help keep the State clean.
