Kogi Police arrest Abuja vehicle thief

Police Operatives attached to ‘B’ Division of the Kogi state police command in Lokoja in synergy with other Security Agencies have arrested one Nnamdi Osita over suspicion of stealing a cream coloured Toyota Coaster Bus with Registration Number GWA 488 ZD.

A statement by the Police explained that the arrest was effected following an intelligence received that a Toyota Coaster Bus suspected to have been stolen from Nyanya, FCT, Abuja for over one year was sighted moving along the Abuja-Lokoja highway.

The statement further noted that the Police Operatives immediately swung into action through covert efforts in collaboration with other Security Agencies and arrested the 39-year-old suspect, Nnamdi Osita who will be taken to the court for trial after the conclusion of ongoing investigation.

The statement quoted the Commissioner of Police Kogi State Police Command, CP Miller Dantawaye, as assuring the good people of Kogi State that the Command remained determined in synergy with other Security Agencies to ensure adequate Security of Lives and Property.

The cp however called on members of the public to support and cooperation with the Police and other Security Agencies by volunteering timely and credible information on the activities of criminal elements operating in the State.
