The crisis in Nigeria’s leading opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) reared its ugly head on Wednesday as the two claimants to the seat of National Secretary showed up at the Board of Trustee meeting in Abuja

Sunday Ude-Okoye arrived the venue of the Board of Trustees meeting in Abuja at exactly 12:02pm with another claimant, Samuel Anyanwu already seated.

Ude-Okoye who took a seat on the extreme of the high table, appears unperturbed and joined proceedings at the meeting.

As the crisis in the party escalate in all fronts, the disputed position of the National Secretary is expected to top the agenda of the Board of Trustees Meeting on Wednesday, January 29, 2025
