If Nigerians are to benefit from the dividends of democracy then elected leaders must embark on people-orientated programs and projects that have direct bearing on the people.
The president of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR Dr Ike Neliaku said this when he and members of the governing council took a tour of projects in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
Ike Neliaku, accompanied by members of the governing council on the tour, commended the Plateau state Governor Caleb Mutfwang for his strides in the Agriculture and Transport sectors adding that more could still be achieved.
Neliaku also called on Nigerians in the diaspora to invest at home to improve the Nigerian economy.
The Plateau state commissioner for information Musa Ashoms said Caleb Mutfwang’s Administration was a people-centric one hence it focuses on projects that touches on the well-being of the people.
