The late Rachael Oniga was born May 23 1957 in Ebutte Metta, Lagos. She hailed from Eku Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Oniga began her acting career in the 90s with her first film titled Onome in 1996.

Rachael Oniga starred in both English and Yoruba movies such as Power of Love, Abiku, Sango, Died Wretched, Owo Blow, Out of Bounds among other films.
