Nigeria’s Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has arrived in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, the Headquarters of Operation Fansan Yamma, to interact with the troops.
He is being accompanied by senior army officers. This is the first time that this current chief of Army staff will be visiting Zamfara the epicenter of banditry in the North West region of Nigeria.

Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede is holding a meeting behind closed doors with the Theatre Commander Operation Fansan Yamma, Major General Olukoyede Soyele, perhaps to receive briefings on the ongoing onslaught against the terror group in Zamfara.
