Taraba State Governor Kefas Swears-in Head of Service, Other Appointees

Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas

A new Head of Service, as well as Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and members of Boards have been sworn in by the Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas.

The Governor tasked the appointees to be strategic and innovative in their contributions to the administration, and make the interest of the citizens a priority.

The new hands to be co-opted into Governor Agbu Kefas’s administration, started with the swearing-in of a new Head of Service for the State’s workforce, following the retirement of the former, as well as about 250 other appointees.

The event took place at the Executive Council Chamber of the T.Y. Danjuma House in Jalingo, the State capital.

The Governor charged the new Head of Service with leading the state’s civil servants with integrity, tasking him on discipline and efficiency.

Then was the swearing-in of over 250 appointees, consisting of Board members, Senior Special Assistants, Special Advisers, and Constituency Special Assistants at the Jolly Nyame Stadium.

Governor Kefas challenged the new appointees to come up with innovative ways that will contribute to his administration’s strategy in positively impacting on the citizens.

He also reiterated his administration’s resolve to run an inclusive government.
