Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on Wednesday arrived at the Senate chamber ahead of the day’s plenary session, accompanied by her husband.
The Kogi Central lawmaker was seen taking her new seat, which she had previously rejected citing concerns about being directly in the view of the chamber’s cameras.
However, during the traditional procession of the Senate leadership into the chamber where all senators are expected to stand in acknowledgment , Senator Natasha remained seated throughout the proceedings.
Her action comes amid ongoing tensions following her recent clash with Senate President Godswill Akpabio, which has sparked debates within and outside the chamber.
