Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno has promised empowerment packages for women entrepreneurs in the state.
The governor who made this announcement in commemoration of this year’s International Women’s Day, said the distribution of the packages will take place next Tuesday.
Governor Eno frowned at physical abuse of women and called on law enforcement agencies to prosecute men found to be involved in such despicable acts.

This year’s International Women Day with the theme “ Accelerate Action”,was marked in the state with so much fanfare as gaily dressed women from across the state made the day very memorable.
