A High Court in Port Harcourt has ordered the All Progressives Congress, APC, and its Caretaker Chairman in Rivers, Isaac Ogbogbula to maintain the status quo.
Justice Ben Whyte gave the order pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice for interlocutory injunction filed by Steven Wonah and six others on July thirty twenty twenty-one.
The judge gave the APC and Ogbogbula twenty-four hours to respond to the motion of interlocutory injunction upon receipt.
The applicants were also given twenty-four hours from the date of the receipt of the defendant’s response to react to their counter affidavit.

The court also ordered that the respondents be served by substituted means, at the new APC Secretariat in GRA Port Harcourt.
Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned to August fifth.
The applicants who went to Court, are aggrieved members of the party who paid money for intent forms to the party’s dedicated account and got their bank tellers as evidence of payment but were not issued forms to contest Elections into wards executives at the ward congresses that held on Saturday 31st July, 2021.
