The Party leadership gave the commendation in a communique on Sunday, during its State Working Committee (SWC) meeting chaired by its Chairman, Umar Danfulani.

The party commended the efforts of former governors, Senator Sani Ahmad Yariman and Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi for ensuring unity among members of the party.

The major opposition APC praised the former governor of the State who is now the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle for distributing half a billion naira cash also to many party members drawn from the 14 Local Government Government Areas including former commissioners, former Special Advisers and former local government sole administrators among others.

It acknowledged the efforts of Mukhtar Idris, former deputy Governor, Ibrahim Wakala and member of the House of Representatives, representing Maru/ Bungudu Constituency, Abdulmalik Zubairu for positively touching the lives of several party members in different ways during the Ramadan fast.

While the party encourages all the leaders to keep up with the good work, praying Allah to continue to give them halal ways to help others, it called on other well to do individuals and groups in the society to emulate their gesture for continued growth, unity and peace within the party.
