The minority leader in the House of Representatives, Ndudi Elumelu has distanced the Peoples Democratic Party minority caucus from an online meeting which called for the resignation of the party chairman, Uche Secondus.

In a statement released on Monday, Elumelu described the meeting as a breach of procedure as it was without the knowledge of the Caucus.

He disclosed that the caucus is “working in concert with organs of the party to ensure sustainable resolution of the current challenges that will be in the overall interest of the party and Nigerians”.

The statement appealed to all party faithfuls particularly PDP members in the House of Representatives to exercise caution and patience as the party addresses the present leadership challenges.
