The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Cross River State, have commenced the sensitization of its members in the State, saying the effort is geared towards preparation to win various elections come 2023.

The party under the PDP Rebirth Group in Etung Local Government Area of the State, was led by the immediate past Commissioner for Information, Comrade Asu Okang, urging it’s members to get registered with INEC and collect their permanent voter cards.

Asu Okang who spoke for the party, said the PDP in Cross River State is restrategizing with focus and ideas on how to vote the ruling Party in the state out of power.

He said the overwhelming crowd that came out in just one local government has proven that Cross River State DNA is still in the PDP.

Some of the party leaders in the local Government debunked reports that PDP members in Etung Local Government Area have all moved to the APC, saying the crowd and leaders that came out have all shown that PDP is an accepted political party in Cross River State.

The party said it will move from one local government to another to sensitize its members across Cross River State.
