NCDC confirms 362 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 362 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

Out of this figure, Lagos has 200, Oyo-33, Kwara-30 while Akwa Ibom-24.

Others include Ogun-17, Delta-15, Ekiti-15, while Plateau and Rivers have 7 each. The FCT has 5, Anambra-3, Edo-3, while Bayelsa, Kaduna, and Kano have 1 each.

So far, 191,345 cases have been confirmed, 178,283 discharged while the country has recorded 2,454 deaths.

Today’s report includes: A backlog of cases reported for Delta State from 26th (2), 27th (4), and 28th (9) August 2021

A backlog of deaths was reported for Lagos State. Four States with zero cases reported: Nasarawa, Ondo, Osun, and Sokoto.
