President Muhammadu Buhari says he is looking forward to his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, winning the November 6 Governorship election in Anambra State.
The President said this on Tuesday when he formally received the party’s Candidate, Senator Andy Uba, at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
The Chairman, Caretaker and Convention Planning Committee of the party and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, and the Chairman Campaign council Governor hope Uzodinma said APC daily receives new entrants from Anambra State, citing the recent decamping of Senators Stella Oduah and Joy Emodi, adding that the party is sure of victory at the election.

Speaking to state house correspondents, Andy Uba thanked the President for the warm reception.
The Candidate was accompanied to the event by Governors Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and George Akume, Minister for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs.
