Insecurity: Nasarawa CP warns criminals as Police arrest 28 year- Old Kidnapper

The Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police Adesina Soyemi has warned criminals to flee Nasarawa State as Police arrest a 28-year-old Kidnapper.

The Police Public Relations Officer Ranham Nansel said in a press statement that Sequel to consistent onslaught against Kidnappers and other criminals in Nasarawa State, on Sunday the 5th of September at about 0130hrs, while acting on credible intelligence, one Abubakar Mohammed 28 years of Wamba road, Akwanga LGA was arrested by Police operatives attached to Akwanga Area Command.

Ranham said Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to being a member of five Man gang of kidnappers who were terrorizing Barkin Ladi area of Plateau State but relocated to Wamba road, Akwanga LGA, Nasarawa State after two of his gang members were neutralized by security operatives during a fierce gun duel in Plateau State.

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, Adesina Soyemi has ordered that the case be transferred to the Anti-kidnapping unit of the Command for a more thorough investigation and commended the officers for a job well done. He further warned all criminals to flee Nasarawa State or meet their waterloo.
