Following the call by Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun to the Federal Government to pay more attention to roads in the state and the subsequent intervention by the Minister of Housing, Babatunde Fashola, a team of the ministry has on Thursday inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Lagos – Abeokuta Express Way.

The combined team of officials from Ogun and Lagos States and the Federal Ministry of Works, who also visited the Ota – Idiroko road, assured users that the reconstruction of the Lagos Abeokuta expressway would be completed in 2022.
