The remaining three Victims of the recent Kidnapping along Idoani-Ifira Akoko road in Ondo state, who reunited with their families this Saturday have recounted their ordeal in the hands of their abductors after being rescued by operatives of the Ondo State Security network known as Amotekun Corps.
The Amotekun corps security network had on wednesday rescued 9 of the 12 travellers abducted by some yet to be identified gunmen at a bad portion of the road along the Ifira-ido Ani highway on Monday.
After 5 days of trauma, following their ordeal in the hands of their abductors , it was indeed a walk to freedom for the 3 remaining kidnapped victims of a 18- seater passenger bus who were on their way to Lagos from Abuja before their abduction last Monday at Ifira Akoko in Akoko South-East Local government area of ondo.

Commander of the Corp, Adetunji Adeleye, said they were able to secure the release of the remaining 3 kidnapped victims through effective inter-agency security collaboration.
Though no arrest has been made so far, Adeleye however noted that the Corps,will continue to apply zero tolerance to crime fighting in the state.
The rescued victims while narrating their ordeal said they trekked in the forest for several hours without eating and drinking water.
It is the hope of residents that security agencies will up their game in reducing incidents of kidnappings in the state.
