The Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has welcomed any form of investigation from the Anti graft agencies in the country done legitimately noting that any move to intimidate him will be resisted entirely.
Governor Ortom, made this known in Makurdi the state capital while inaugurating a permanent secretary, member Civil Service Commission and executives of 3 councils which includes , Members of the State University Governing Council, School of Health Tell, Agasha as well as the Muslims Pilgrim Board.

Governor Ortom was quick to advice them on transparency issues but certain he would reject any form of investigations done to intimidate him or members of his government.
On the issue of arrears of pension and gratuity the chief executive says he has initiated steps to resolve the lingering challenge.
While assuring the new appointees of his administration’s maximum support Governor Ortom equally urged civil servants to do same.
