A Human Rights and Rule of Law initiative, Concerned Nigerians, have called on the Nigerian authorities to investigate the circumstances that led to the sudden death of dissident, Dr. Obadiah Mailafia.
The group, in a statement by its convener, Deji Adeyanju, said Mailafia had been violently targeted by some persons averse to his position on how ethnic minorities in Northern Nigeria are being treated.
Adeyanju also noted that Nigerians who strive to expose the massive human rights violations and corruption in Buhari’s led administration are always the target of the regime.
