Some aggrieved top members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Oyo State, have passed a vote of no confidence on the Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde, few days to the upcoming Congress of the party in the state.
The meeting held in Ibadan, was attended by top members, who vowed to work against the return of Seyi Makinde come 2023.
In the meeting attended by PDP members drawn from the 33 LGAs, they vowed to prevent Gov Makinde from getting the party’s ticket for a second term.

But reacting to these allegations, the Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), said it is disappointed over the action of some of the aggrieved members.
The party, in a statement made available to ait.live through its publicity Secretary, Akeem Olatunji, described the action of the aggrieved members as anti-party and selfish.
