The Police in Adamawa State have arrested twenty-one suspects alleged to be killers of witches, killers of rice buyers and kidnappers.
Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Adamu said the suspects were arrested following a collaboration with hardworking hunters and vigilantes
The suspects who killed seven persons in connection to witchcraft, spoke in Hausa, saying that the witches have been troubling their area.

The Police Commissioner said from January to date, his command has apprehended, investigated and prosecuted one thousand one hundred and eighty-four suspects of various offences, four hundred and sixty-four suspects have been convicted, while seven hundred and twenty are awaiting trial.
He urged Adamawa residents not to relent in collaborating with the police to rid the state of criminals.
