Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has vowed that the State Government will leave no stone unturned in fishing out those responsible for the killing of Kano indigens in Uromi, Edo State last week.
In a statewide broadcast on Sallah day, Governor Yusuf called for calm from indigens of the state against any form of reprisal on other innocent residents in the state.
He said the state government has set a machinery in motion to ensure that justice is served.
Information from some quarters at the Kano State government house indicate that, while the state delegation leaves for Edo to meet the Hausa community on Monday, the Governor of Edo State is expected in Kano the same day to condole with the government and people of the state as part of measures to douse the tension created by the killings.
The 16th Emir of Kano, Mohammed Sanusi the second had earlier called for calm during Eid prayer on Sunday.
