Residents of Dakunji condemns invasion of their community by Special Task Force.
Residents of Dakunji Village in Jos South local government area of plateau state have expressed shock at the way their community was invaded by men of the Special Task Force, STF , which led to the arrest of Davou Nyango, whom they describe as a law abiding citizen.
They are also seeking compensation for losses and damages incurred during the disturbing raid.
Spokeperson for the community,Pam Dalyop, said his people are even more more worried because Nyango was held for 9 days without trail and access to legal services
He called on the special task force to conduct it’s operations in ways that will not harm the trust the people have in the military.
