Kebbi Gov. Atiku Bagudu commends Public/Private sector role in State socio-economic development

Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has appreciated the roles played by the public and private sectors in the socio-economic development of the state.

Governor Bagudu disclosed this while addressing Civil Servants in Birnin Kebbi, during the celebration of the World Day for Decent Work.

The Governor acknowledged the role, especially played by the private sector in providing jobs to the people, as well as in raising the fortunes of the state.

The Chairman of, Nigeria Labour Congress, Kebbi State, Umar Hassan, told the governor that the global event was crucial to the welfare of workers.

Umar Hassan commended the governor for overcoming the challenges of the power sector in the state.

The labour leader praised the private sector for providing job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths.
