Nasarawa Poll: NASIEC presents Certificates of Return to elected LG Chairmen

The Chairman Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) Ayuba Wandai has presented certificate of return to elected Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and Councillors in the just concluded elections.

The event was held at the commission’s headquarters in Lafia, the state capital.

Ayuba said it is a duty of the commission to present certificates of return to the 13 local government chairmen, their deputies and 147 councillors duly elected.

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule while swearing in the winners, admonished the them to be committed in leading people of the state through innovative programmes

Chairman-Elect of Lafia Local Government, Muazu maipata appreciated the Nasarawa state government, NASIEC and all other key players for making the election a success.

He gave the assurance of the chairmen and councilors in providing selfless service to the people.
