Bauchi State contingent at the National Youth Games in Ilorin is stranded, as the games closed today.
Speaking to wait. live on Telephone, one of the contingent members said, it is a result of the failure of the State Government to settle the remaining allowances, which was promised to them before their departure for Ilorin.
He said security personnel attached to the contingent have vowed they will receive their allowance before they depart Ilorin tomorrow.

He said the lingering problem of the allowance started in Bauchi, which resulted in their leaving Ilorin for the games late, and the consequent poor performance of the Bauchi contingent, as most of the games were played before their arrival.
The Bauchi Contingent is calling on Bauchi State Governor Bala Muhammad to come to their aid.
