An unspecified number of Armed men have abducted more than thirty persons in the Garun-Gabas community of Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
The gunmen according to an eyewitness came in three vehicles including eighteen seater bus.
Eyewitness account says the gunmen used their weapons to scare away villagers before taking the abducted persons into the forest.

The gunmen were also said to have rustled some cattle from the area.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Wasiu Abiodun, did not respond to calls for confirmation on the development.
