The Coalition of civil society organizations numbering 22 in Plateau State have raised alarm over what they call Militarization of Public space and heating up of the Political atmosphere of the Plateau.
They made this known while addressing Journalists in Jos on the recent Pandemonium over the leadership crisis rocking the Plateau State House of Assembly.
The current leadership tussle rocking the Plateau State House of Assembly has continued to generate reactions with the latest from the Coalition of Civil Society organizations on the Plateau.

Their concern is the threat to peace and the corporate existence of people in the state.
They want government officials, Politicians, and other actors to desist from taking advantage of the unemployed youths and cautioned against the militarization of civil spaces.
While calling for a quick resolution of the impasse in the state assembly, they equally called for the protection of democratic values and norms, as well as the independence of the three arms of government.
