Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki says the new Benin City Central Park currently undergoing construction will be expanded to accommodate about 1,000 vehicles from the initial 370 projected.
The Governor stated this when he embarked on an assessment tour of the ultramodern bus terminal located at Obakhavhaye and the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in the premises of the Nigerian Observer, Benin City.

Governor Godwin Obaseki was accompanied by his Deputy, Philip Shaibu to inspect the project.
The ultramodern bus terminal when completed is expected to ease traffic congestion and provide easier access to public transportation.
The Central Park was billed to accommodate 370 vehicles, a figure Obaseki said can be expanded to park 1,000 cars.
He said the park which is at 90% completion can boast of world class facilities that can compete with some of the best in Europe and America.
