The Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has charged local government overseers to be good ambassadors of the state, while overseeing the development areas, in order to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people at the grassroots.
Governor Sule gave the charge in Lafia, the state capital, while swearing in 18 persons as Overseers of Development Areas in the state.

Sule appealed to them to closely supervise the affairs of their respective development areas for speedy development and urged them to be transparent and prudent in the management of funds at their disposal.
He also urged them to work hand in hand with the local government chairmen for a better delivery of his administration’s development strategies
The governor promised to support the local administrators whenever they encounter challenges, adding that his administration will monitor their activities as they discharge their new responsibilities.
