Gunmen have abducted a businessman in Maikunkele, the Headquarters of Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State.
The gunmen were said to have emerged from a nearby bush and rocky terrain around the Minna Airport.

The sporadic shooting into the air scared away people before heading for the businessman
According to an eyewitness, while the gunmen were shooting, some of the residents took cover in a nearby weekly market, while others ran into the bush for safety.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Niger State, Deputy Superintendent Wasiu Abiodun is yet to confirm the abduction of the businessman.
