As the war against insecurity continues in Niger State, 4 suspected kidnappers are cooling their heels at the Niger State police command following their arrest.
The suspects were said to have been arrested by police operatives attached to Rijau Division on April 12.
Confirming the development, spokesman of the police, Superintendent Wasi’u Abiodun, in a statement, said the suspects were arrested with two locally made pistols and one Dane gun.
A preliminary investigation also revealed that the suspects had kidnapped one female victim from the Angwan-Gwanda village of Rijau in March, but she escaped from their captivity.
