Niger State Government has again confirmed the presence of members of the Islamic State of West Africa and Boko Haram in different parts of the state.
The confirmation was made by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Ahmad Matane, during a media chat in Minna, the state capital.
Ahmad Matane said that Boko Haram has its camp already in Shiroro Local Government, while ISWAP had set up at Banana, in Borgu Local Government Area.

He maintained that ISWAP has been undertaking its activities around Nigeria and Benin Republic.
He further said that presently, seven local governments have persistently been attacked by the terrorists.
The Local Governments include Munya, Shiroro, Mashegu and Rafi.
