Elder states man and IJaw leader, Edwin Clark wants the federal government to immediately implement the All Progressives Congress Committee report on restructuring which, among others, recommends state policing and devolution of powers.
Clark said implementation of the report will bring lasting peace to the country and address all the current challenges confronting the country.
Addressing a news conference at his Abuja residence in Asokoro Abuja on Wednesday, The Niger Delta leader said failure of government to restructure will bring more chaos to the country.

APC committee, also known as the El-Rufai Committee chaired by (Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state was set up in August 2017 to articulate the party’s position on true federalism.
The report also recommended independent candidacy during elections, referendum on national issues, and for public holidays to be moved to the concurrent list.
