The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has called on the administration of President Bola Tinubu to address the alleged unethical practices of some tertiary institutions in the disbursement of the Federal Government’s Students Loan Funds.
NANS National Vice President, Inter-Campus and Gender Affairs, Akinbodunse Sileola Felicia, who addressed a press conference on Thursday in Abeokuta said investigations carried out by the students body has revealed some level of Infractions in the disbursement process, alleging that Some institutions are now involved in illegal diversion of the funds for private use.

The student body therefore called on President Bola Tinubu to set up a monitoring system to ensure that funds meant for students reach the targeted beneficiaries.
NANS has announced April 24 as the day chosen to organize mass protests across all zones to press home their demands.
